Tristein merges with Aqualis Offshore

Aqualis ASA (OSE: Aqua) is merging the operations of Tristein AS into Aqualis Offshore AS.

Oslo-listed Aqualis ASA acquired Norwegian company Tristein AS in April 2014. Tristein has since operated as a stand-alone entity as part of the Aqualis Group. Now the company is being merged into the group’s main Norwegian operational unit, Aqualis Offshore AS.

Aqualis Offshore is a specialized marine and offshore engineering consultancy focusing on the shallow-water and deepwater offshore segments of the oil, gas, and wind industry. Tristein provides marine operations for those industries.

In Norway, Aqualis Offshore will continue to operate from the company’s three offices in Asker, Kristiansund, and Sandefjord.

“The combination of Aqualis Offshore and Tristein will allow us to deliver enhanced services to all our clients by sharing expertise and resources, particularly where engineering and offshore attendances are required,” said Bjørn Håvard Brænden, director of Norwegian operations at Aqualis Offshore.
