Frank’s International NV (NYSE: FI) has appointed Gary Luquette as president and CEO, succeeding D. Keith Mosing. Luquette will continue to serve on the company’s board of supervisory directors, and Mosing will remain actively involved in the strategic direction of the company and will serve as executive chairman.
Luquette joined the company’s board in November 2013. He previously served as president of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Co., a position he held from April 2006 until his retirement in September 2013. Luquette began his career with Chevron in 1978 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a former member of the American Petroleum Institute and chair of the organization’s Upstream Committee. Additionally, Luquette is a member and chairman of the board of directors of McDermott International Inc.
At a special meeting of its shareholders on Jan. 23, the company’s shareholders elected William B. Berry to serve on its board for a term of office expiring at the company’s 2015 annual meeting of shareholders, at which time he will stand for reelection. Berry was also appointed as a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee.
Berry served as executive vice president of exploration and production for ConocoPhillips Co. from 2003 until his retirement on Jan. 1, 2008. He has over 30 years of experience with ConocoPhillips and Phillips Petroleum Co. Berry holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Mississippi State University. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Teekay Corp. and Continental Resources Inc.
