Enterprise Products makes legal team appointments

Enterprise Products Partners LP

Enterprise Products Partners LP (NYSE:EPD) has elected Craig W. Murray as group senior vice president and general counsel. Additionally, the company has appointed Harry Paul “Hap” Weitzel as senior vice president and deputy general counsel, and Vijay A. D’Cruz as vice president of litigation. Each of the appointments is effective Jan. 5, 2015.

Most recently, Murray was a senior partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston, where he focused primarily on corporate and energy-related finance, including pipeline financing. His energy finance experience has involved oil and gas properties in all major producing states, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. Murray earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and a Juris Doctor from the Louisiana State University Law Center.

Weitzel has experience as a commercial litigation partner with several firms, most recently at Pepper Hamilton in Irvine, California. His area of practice has been in civil trials and arbitrations, in which he has represented individual, corporate and governmental clients as plaintiffs and defendants. Weitzel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Texas Christian University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

A member of the Houston office of Locke Lord LLP since 2000, D’Cruz has been Litigation, Energy & Construction partner since January 2009. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston School of Law, where he also served as an adjunct professor.
