Medallion Pipeline conducting binding open season

Medallion Pipeline Co. LLC

Medallion Pipeline Co. LLC, a subsidiary of Medallion Midstream LLC, is conducting a binding open season to solicit long-term commitments from shippers for capacity on two projects that will substantially extend and expand its existing crude oil pipeline system's geographic scope. The open season ends Dec. 1.

The projects include the Midkiff Lateral project, which is a proposed 75,000-barrel-per-day, 12-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline extending 40 miles westward from Medallion's existing Garden City Station to production areas in Upton, Midland, and Glasscock counties, Texas. The other project is the Wolfcamp Connector Expansion, which is a proposed 30,000-barrel-per-day (or more, depending upon shipper commitments) expansion of Medallion's existing 12-inch-diameter Wolfcamp Connector mainline, which originates at the Garden City Station in Glasscock County and extends 60 miles north to the Colorado City hub in Scurry County, Texas.

Medallion is conducting the binding open season to obtain long-term volume commitments for the Midkiff Lateral and Wolfcamp Expansion projects. The open season provides an opportunity for interested shippers to acquire long-term firm capacity, under minimum 10-year term transportation service agreements as a committed firm shipper on either project or both. The Midkiff Lateral and Wolfcamp Expansion projects are expected to be in service in the first quarter of 2015.
