Endeavour updates on Chapter 11 proceedings, resignation of executive

Endeavour International Corp. (OTC: ENDRQ) (LSE: ENDV) has announced an accelerated timetable for its Chapter 11 proceedings. The company anticipates a hearing to be held on Dec. 17 for the purpose of obtaining the Bankruptcy Court's approval of the disclosure statement to be filed by the company in connection with its proposed plan of reorganization. There will also be a hearing on Feb. 3, 2015, for the purpose of obtaining confirmation by the Bankruptcy Court of the plan.

Endeavor also announced that William L. Transier requested that the board of directors accept his resignation as president and CEO of the company, effective Dec. 1, which the board accepted. Transier will continue as chairman of the board.
