Egon Zehnder, a privately-owned executive search and talent consulting firm, has made leadership appointments in its energy practice in Houston.
Todd Auwarter joins Egon Zehnder as a consultant. He will serve energy and private equity clients across upstream, oilfield services, midstream, downstream, power, renewables, and related industries. Auwarter will advise clients on executive searches, as well as management appraisals and strategies to guide the accelerated integration of transitioning executives.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Auwarter was a principal with Bain & Company, where he led numerous engagements in the energy sector, with a particular emphasis on upstream, oilfield services, and private equity-backed entities. He is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he earned an MBA concentrated in Strategy and Finance.
Roger Aguirre, a Houston-based consultant, will assume leadership of the oilfield services sector. Aguirre has served in various leadership roles at Schlumberger and GE Oil & Gas. His international posts across the Americas, Europe and Asia have allowed him to work with companies across the energy value chain. He is also a member of Egon Zehnder's supply chain practice and in his new role, will continue to conduct management appraisals as well as executive and director searches. He holds an engineering degree in electronics and communications and is a graduate of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
