Continental Resources promotes Stark to president, COO

Jack Stark Continental Resources Inc. (NYSE: CLR) has appointed Jack Stark as president and COO. Stark joined the Oklahoma City, OK-based company in 1992 and has served as Continental's senior vice president of exploration since 1998.

The news comes one week after W.F. “Rick” Bott resigned from the president and COO postitions.

Stark joined Continental in 1992 and brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his new position. He holds a master's degree in geology from Colorado State University.
