Butler joins Houston office of Squire Sanders

Squire Sanders has expanded its Houston office with the addition of energy and resource lawyer Lisa Butler. Butler, who relocated to Houston from the firm’s Western Australian energy practice in Perth, brings knowledge of the sector in Asia and in particular on Asian investment interests in the US. 

Butler practices in commercial and corporate law with a focus on energy and resources transactions and projects. She has expertise in acquisitions and divestments, joint venture arrangements, off-take arrangements and risk management associated with exploration and production activities, both in Australia and internationally.

Butler received B.Comm and LLB degrees, with honors, from The University of Western Australia.
