Therma-Flite hires new VP for oil and gas sector

Therma-Flite Inc.

Therma-Flite Inc. has appointed Jack Blonquist as the company’s vice president of oil and gas. In his new role, Blonquist will be tasked with solving waste-disposal challenges in the oil and gas market.

Blonquist brings with him over 23 years in the waste management industry as the former vice president of operations at DuraTherm Inc. and as vice president of operations at OnSite Technology. Blonquist has developed and brought onsite many successful thermal desorption operations in areas that include the US, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, the UK, and the Middle East.

Therma-Flite's Indirect Thermal Desorption Process technology recovers hydrocarbons from drilling mud and refinery waste streams like tank bottom sludges and spent catalyst fines. The Therma-Flite process recovers the diesel and oil from the waste streams in a manner in which the diesel and oil can be resold or reused with little to no additional processing.
