SeaBird Exploration proposes new chairman

SeaBird Exploration

Pursuant to the upcoming resignation of Henrik Christensen as chairman of SeaBird Exploration’s board of directions, the Nomination Committee has proposed that Åge Korsvold be elected as the new chairman.

Korsvold is currently a board member of i.a. Timex Group BV, Sapa AS, Green Resources AS, and Aweco Invest AS. Previously, he has been CEO of Orkla, Kistefos, and Storebrand.

If the proposal is approved, SeaBird’s board of directors will consist of Åge Korsvold (chairman), Kitty Hall, Kjell Mathiassen, Melvin Teigen, and John Olav Økland.

SeaBird is a global provider of marine acquisition for 2D/3D and 4D seismic data, along with associated products and services to the oil and gas industry.
