Sesa Sterlite reappoints whole-time director and CEO

Sesa Sterlite Ltd.’s board of directors has reappointed Mahendra Singh Mehta as whole-time director and CEO, as of Jan. 1 to March 31. The search is in progress for his successor.

The natural-resource company is primarily involved in exploring, extracting, and processing minerals and oil & gas. Sesa Sterlite has a presence across India, South Africa, Namibia, Ireland, Australia, Liberia, and Sri Lanka. Over 80% of its revenues come from India, China, East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Sesa Sterlite is a subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Plc, a London listed company.
