Landry joins NecesSea board of directors

NecesSea LLC, a software company specializing in the oil and gas and maritime industries, has appointed Stephen A. Landry to its board of directors. Landry currently serves as managing director of Rice, Voelker LLC, where he focuses his efforts on helping private and small public companies in the oil and gas, oilfield service, maritime, and alternative fuel sectors to raise capital.

Landry has over 30 years of experience as an investment banker, attorney, and commercial banker to the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Rice Voelker, he was head of investment banking for Pritchard Capital Partners LLC. He previously was CFO of W&T Offshore Inc., and, prior to that, senior vice president of Jefferies & Company Inc. Before joining Jefferies, he practiced oil and gas and commercial law and was an oil and gas commercial banker.

Landry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana State University, and a J.D. from Loyola School of Law, where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review. He is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) and the Houston Producers’ Forum.
