Hein & Associates LLP has named new partners. Jennifer Elder, CPA, Dallas senior audit manager has been named audit partner; Pedro Gonzalez, CPA, Dallas senior audit manager has been named audit partner; and James Winton, National CFO, has been appointed chief operating officer.
Elder has over 15 years of professional experience, and has served the Dallas, Texas office of Hein & Associates for the past nine years. She provides public and private companies with a wide range of accounting and advisory services, including Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) compliance, SEC disclosure and reporting requirements, and technical accounting issues related to derivative instruments. She has developed a focus in the energy industry.
Gonzalez has over 15 years of professional audit and consulting experience, having served the Dallas, Texas office of Hein & Associates for the past nine years. He assists both public and private company clients with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosure/reporting requirements, mergers and acquisitions, initial and secondary securities offerings, Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) internal control and reporting. He has developed a focus in the energy and energy services industries.
Winton has over 18 years of professional experience, and has been with Hein & Associates for 17 years. Winton is located in the national office in Denver, Colorado.
