Tran joined Intervale in 2006 as an associate, and has been investing in the oilfield services industry since 2005. Over the past eight years, he has led several transactions, and has played a key role in Intervale's recent acquisition of Antelope Oil Tool & Manufacturing Co. LLC. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Antelope, Proserv Group Inc., and Benchmark Completions LLC.

Prior to the formation of Intervale in 2006, Tran was an associate at Cherington Capital, a private equity firm focused on the oilfield services industry. He started his professional career in Lehman Brothers' Investment Banking Division, where he spent time in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Harvard College.
