Aztec closes Comanche drilling program

Aztec Oil & Gas Inc.

Aztec Oil & Gas Inc. (Pink Sheets: AZGS) has closed its Comanche drilling program, effective Nov. 15. Fred Zeidman, Aztec’s president, stated that closing this program would allow the company to focus more effort on improving corporate and field results over those achieved in previous years.

“Since the recent management change this summer, Aztec has made good progress in consolidating its operations into the Houston, Texas, office; installing a sophisticated, robust oil and gas accounting system; and making effective changes in personnel,” he said. “We look forward to significant improvements in Aztec's performance and growth."
