The Houston Chapter of the Business Market Association (BMA) has recognized David Davis, global sales manager for PennWell’s Offshore magazine, as the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient at the annual Lantern Awards of Texas gala on Nov. 29. The award is presented annually to long-time BMA members who have significantly contributed to the growth of the chapter and to the profession of business-to-business marketing.
Davis is the second PennWell employee to achieve this honor and is the sixteenth recipient in the history of the Lifetime Achievement Award. “We are immensely proud of David,” said Mark Peters, vice president and group publisher for PennWell. “As an icon in this industry, he is a very deserving recipient of this award and an invaluable asset to our team.”
PennWell’s Oil & Gas Financial Journal also accepted an Award of Excellence during the gala for its “Closer” campaign entered in the Fractional Page Advertising Campaign category. Judges are B2B marketing professionals from fellow BMA chapters nationwide who score entries based on the marketing objective, strategy, implementation, and performance of each entry.
