Houston, TX-based Merrick, a provider of information technology solutions for the oil and gas industry, has launched its new platform for oil and gas production management and hydrocarbon accounting, Merrick Production Manager.
“Oil and gas production teams today face more demanding environments than ever. A growing number of wells to manage, increasing pace of operations and heavy volumes of field data that must be processed and analyzed to optimize operations are continuous challenges. These are intensified even more in unconventional and shale operations. Increasing regulatory reporting requirements at the state and federal levels are also adding a burden on production teams. Tasks such as tracking produced water or managing massive volumes of run tickets consume massive amounts of time and resources. Merrick Production Manager provides oil and gas producers a single system to address all these needs, optimize their operations and stay in compliance with regulatory agencies” stated Clara Fuge, VP Production Division at Merrick.
Merrick Production Manager is the latest release of the company’s production operations and accounting software, currently used in 20% of all oil and gas wells in the US, as well as globally, by 90+ companies and 7000+ field operators, according to the company.
Suite components include Merrick eVIN for capturing, validating and transmitting any data related to field operations, Merrick ProCount, comprehensive hydrocarbon accounting application for daily and monthly allocations and Merrick Carte, a web-based dashboard for production operations reporting and management.
Merrick Production Manager was developed on Microsoft .net Silverlight and provides a web-enabled interface.
