A group of international oil and gas industry executives and investment bankers has launched OFS Capital (OFS), a boutique energy investment and merchant bank. OFS provides services to the energy industry with a focus on the exploration and production, oilfield services, power, distribution, and renewables sectors. The group will advise both corporate and institutional clients and will be active throughout North and South America.
The OFS management team is comprised of strategic senior executives who understand and are well connected with the industry. OFS Managing Directors are: James C. Row, Luiz Antonio Maneschy, Mark McHugh, Allen Parks, Beatriz Camarena Maney, R. Kirk Sherr, John Daniel, Michael E. Humphries, and Carlos Rojas.
“As we assembled our team of experts, we recognized that what the investment banking sector needs is a firm that properly understands the oil and gas industry as well as the local business environment,” said co-founder James Row. “We believe that our strategy of company representation, merchant banking and a soon to be deployed dedicated energy mezzanine fund will result in faster deal flow and greater success for our clients.”
Additionally, the company has recruited an experienced advisory board that includes: Ambassador Otto J. Reich, president of Otto Reich Associates LLC; Roberto Keoseven, president and CEO of RK Consultores; and Christopher Larson, managing director for the Pataki-Cahill Group.
OFS Capital is co-headquartered in Houston and Rio de Janeiro, with offices in Washington, DC, Bogota, Mexico City, New York, and London.
