H2O Inc. implements Innovative Engineering Management System

H20 Inc., a water treatment equipment provider based in Lafayette, La., has implemented the Innovation Engineering Management System (IEMS), according to Jess Fike, president of H2O. The firm becomes the first Louisiana-based company in the oil and gas sector to use this system.

The IEMS is a scientific method for accelerating more profitable products, services, markets and processes for service company clients. This system applies the mindset and principles of Dr. W. Edwards Deming to the innovation and growth of vital aspects of a company, said Fike.

“H2O is constantly looking for new growth opportunities within the oil and gas industry,” said Fike. “As our organization expands, it is vital for us to focus on innovations and ideas and the rate at which they hit the market. IEMS will help us achieve a faster product and service development process.”

For more than 30 years, H2O has been providing its services to the onshore and offshore energy market.  The company provides potable water solutions, as well as offering comprehensive water safety products and services through its Bluecube and Crapzapper divisions.
