Texas Capital Bank hires energy banker for Midland office

Click to EnlargeDALLAS – Texas Capital Bank’s Energy Division has expanded into Midland, TX, with the hiring of energy banking expert Frank K. Stowers. The bank now has offices in the three major oil and gas markets in the state: Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston and Midland.

“Frank Stowers is one of the leading bankers in this market with more than 29 years of energy lending experience,” said Chris Cowan, executive vice president and manager of Texas Capital Bank’s Energy Division in Dallas. “I couldn’t be more pleased to add someone of his caliber and knowledge to our team.”

Stowers joins Texas Capital Bank as a senior vice president with the Energy Division. His area of responsibility will be energy lending for West Texas/Permian Basin. Most recently, he was the credit director and senior vice president for Citibank in Midland. Stowers also served as market president for Citibank’s Midland/Odessa market during his 12 year tenure. He received his BBA degree in general business from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.
