Expro opens new service facility in West Texas

International oilfield service company Expro has opened a new regional operating base in Midland, Texas.

The new base location, which consolidates two facilities in West Texas, will house all the services Expro provides in the area, including drilling chokes, flowback well testing services, and downhole camera services.

“Expro has been enhancing its service offering throughout the United States by creating regional operating bases that offer all the essential services for the area,” said Bill Barton, vice president of Expro’s North American land region. “The new Expro West Texas operating base in Midland…makes it easier for our customers to get the products and services they need in a quick and efficient way.”

The West Texas facility, located at 2708 South County Road 1242, Midland, TX 79706, consists of a two-acre yard, a 10,500-square-foot shop with a 10-ton overhead crane.

UK-based Expro employs more than 4,500 people in 50 countries. Its North America headquarters are in Houston, with operational teams across the divisions of East Texas; Mid Continent; Southern; Western US; Western Canada; Mexico; Frontier and the Gulf of Mexico.
