Atlantic Guardian compiling multiple seismic surveys in Barents Sea

TRONDHEIM, NorwayEMGS says its Atlantic Guardian seismic acquisition vessel has completed a fjord test for equipment commissioned by a joint industry project.

Thereafter, the vessel performed funded test surveys for the JIP partners.

During August, the vessel went on to acquire multi-client data in the Hammerfest basin, followed by another a multi-client project in the Norwegian Barents Sea, which is due to be completed shortly.

Another EMGS vessel, BOA Thalassa, has been laid up at a reduced rate since May 1.
