Exxon plans to drill deepwater well offshore Liberia

MONROVIA, Liberia ExxonMobil Corp. plans to drill its first exploratory well offshore Liberia next month, Reuters has reported.

“ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Liberia Ltd., an affiliate of ExxonMobil, plans to drill a deepwater exploration well on the Liberia-13 block, located about 50 mi [80 km] offshore Liberia, beginning in November 2016,” the news organization quoted a company spokesperson as saying.
