HOUSTONMcDermott International’s Altamira facility in Mexico has resumed work on the Ayatsil C project, which was previously suspended by PEMEX to allow for assessment of the overall Ayatsil field infrastructure sequencing needs.

Fabrication of the 7,500-ton jacket should now be completed this month, with the DB 50 vessel set to install the facility in 4Q.

Recently the company won a contract to provide a platform to provide replacement and expansion capabilities to the existing Ku-Maloob-Zaap, Cantarell and Ayatsil facilities in the Bay of Campeche.

Offshore Malaysia, McDermott’s Derrick Barge 30 has completed the Hess Bergading project, which involved installation of a large processing facility jacket and a wellhead platform jacket and topsides.
