Oceaneering extends, expands Harris CapRock agreement

HOUSTON Oceaneering has extended and expanded its agreement for Harris CapRock Communications to deliver managed communications services onboard its operated fleet of vessels.

Harris CapRock will deploy voice and data services over its new uncontended Time Divisional Multiple Access (TDMA) network. This architecture allows access to committed bandwidth levels at all times – an advancement over traditional contended TDMA networks that share bandwidth across multiple satellite circuits.

The agreement includes initiating services onboard Oceaneering’s multi-service support vessel currently under construction, to be named the Ocean Evolution.
