Maersk Interceptor to drill Det norske North Sea wildcat

OSLO, NorwayDet norske oljeselskap has approval for an exploratory well in the central Norwegian North Sea.

According to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, the jackup Maersk Interceptor will drill well 25/10-15 S in the northeast part of license PL 626.

This will be the first well on the concession, awarded in February 2012, although two wells were drilled previously on the acreage.
