GLASGOW, UKCaley Ocean Systems is supplying Singapore-based diving/subsea equipment contractor Flash Tekk Engineering with saturation dive bell handling systems.

These will be deployed on Ultra Deep Solutions’ newbuild dive support vessels Deep Installer and Van Gogh.

The Caley systems are designed for deployment and recovery of a 24-man twin bell saturation dive system for the Ultra Deep Installer, and an 18-man bell saturation dive system for the Van Gogh, both DNV-classed, for operations in water depths of up to 300 m (984 ft).

On each vessel, the bell is deployed via a moonpool using two clump weight guide wire winches and main bell cable winch.

Both vessels are under construction by China Merchants Industry Holdings, Schenzen, and are due to be delivered to Ultra Deep Solutions in Singapore around 2Q 2018.
