Apache calls on Bibby for North Sea Forties tie-ins

ABERDEEN, UKApache North Sea has contracted Bibby Offshore to provide subsea construction, ROV, and diving services in the Forties area of the UK central North Sea.

Bibby will deploy its multi-role diving support vessel Bibby Topaz, equipped with an inspection class ROV.

The project calls for well tie-ins and spool change-out at the Aviat and Bacchus locations, along with the associated pre-commissioning works, to tieback subsea wells to the Forties oil field, 110 mi (177 km) east of Aberdeen.
