Topaz nets five-year Caspian support deal with BP

DUBAI, UAE – BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) has awarded Topaz Energy and Marine contracts for 14 offshore support vessels over a five-year period.

The program, which carries two one-year extension options, mainly involves support for BP’s ACG and Shah Deniz II fields offshore Azerbaijan.

BP will have access to large anchor-handler vessels, platform supply vessels, and emergency response and recovery vessels.

Topaz currently operates a 21-strong fleet in Azeri waters.
