Statoil mobilizes rig for North Sea Huldra well plugging

OSLO, Norway – Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has authorized use of the jackup West Epsilon for permanent plugging of wells on the Huldra field in license 051 in the Norwegian North Sea.

Operator Statoil has allocated 215 days for the activity, which will start this spring. Water depth at the location is 125 m (410 ft).

West Epsilon is operated by North Atlantic Drilling.
