Lundin finds gas at Maligan offshore Malaysia

STOCKHOLM, SwedenLundin Petroleum’s latest exploration well offshore East Malaysia has been P&A’d after encountering significant gas shows.

The jackup West Prospero drilled the well on the Maligan prospect in blocks SB307/SB308 to a TD of around 1,380 m (4,527 ft).

Lundin operates in partnership with Dyas and Petronas Carigali.
