Safe Scandinavia heads to Oseberg platform offshore Norway

LARNACA, Cyprus – Onshore acceptance testing of the newly converted tender support vessel (TSV) Safe Scandinavia has been completed, according to owner Prosafe.

The vessel is currently mobilizing to the Oseberg Øst platform in the Norwegian North Sea to start drilling support operations for Statoil.

Prosafe is responsible for provision of mud services to Oseberg Øst and all marine operations of the TSV, which will also provide accommodation to assist activity via a telescopic gangway.

The contract is due to start later this month.
