Eni to establish bases for AUV-based offshore inspection

SAN DONATO MILANESE, ItalyEni plans to use the Clean Sea AUV for marine environmental monitoring and offshore asset inspection in the Mediterranean region and West Africa.

Operations will be supported from logistics bases in Angola and Sicily with a dedicated team to cover worldwide routine activity.

In the Mediterranean basin, Enimed in Gela will operate the AUV which is based on the company’s in-house technology.
