Det norske orders Plexus kit for offshore Norway well

LONDON Det norske oljeselskap has contracted Plexus Holdings to supply surface wellhead and mudline equipment services for an exploration well offshore Norway

Value of the order is around £0.6 million ($0.85 million).

Plexus will supply its standard pressure 18¾-in. 15M surface wellhead and mudline system.

The jackup Maersk Interceptor is expected to take 40-60 days to drill the well.

This will be the eighth Det norske well to make use of Plexus’ POS-GRIP wellhead equipment since 2012.
