Danos to manage BP’s GoM warehouse operations

GRAY, LouisianaBP has selected Danos to manage its warehousing and materials management operations in the Gulf of Mexico.

Under the new agreement, the company will directly manage four offshore platforms as well as its Cross Dock and Preservation and Maintenance facilities located in Houma, Oil Country Tubular Goods pipe yard in Channelview, Texas, and Westlake 4 office in Houston.  

Danos assumes responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the facilities.

CEO Hank Danos said: “We’re proud to be chosen by BP to handle an operation of this scale and complexity. It’s a good example of how we can support our customers by providing additional services.”

The company has provided production workforce support for BP’s offshore warehousing since 2009.
