CGG in talks with Iranian research institute

TEHRAN, IranCGG has been discussing a technical cooperation with Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI), according to news service Shana.

This would cover geological, geophysical, and reservoir capabilities.

CGG’s sales director Daniel Van Hulle, who visited RIPI yesterday, said his company was studying investment opportunities now that the removal of sanctions against Iran has opened the way to bilateral cooperation.
