BP, OneSubsea ink subsea service agreement

Offshore staff

HOUSTON – BP has signed two five-year global frame agreements (GFA) with OneSubsea.

The Cameron and Schlumberger joint venture company will provide engineering, procurement, and construction of subsea production systems (SPS) and subsea aftermarket services.

The agreements provide a framework for worldwide supply of SPS technology and subsea aftermarket services, including service personnel and rental equipment.

This marks the second contract OneSubsea has signed with BP in the last few days, having signed an agreement with the operator to provide subsea production systems for multiple fields offshore Egypt.

OneSubsea said that the new agreements announced today were based on the “long-standing success” of their prior agreements.
