Arnlea to inspect SBM Offshore FPSOs

Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK SBM Offshore has awarded Arnlea Systems a three-year contract to roll-out its Intrinsix Ex inspection system across the firm’s global fleet of FPSO vessels.

The Ex inspection system, which is part of the company’s Intrinsix mobile technology product suite, alerts relevant parties to potentially serious issues in a time-critical manner, reducing unplanned shutdowns and loss of revenues.

Arnlea said this job constituted its first fleet deal.

The Intrinsix technology, which was first introduced in 2014, is available as a complete solution or in separate modules, using mobile and automatic identification and data capture technology to support inventory, logistics, and operations management.

The integrated software aims to help clients manage their supply chain and operations more effectively and safely from warehouse to field operations.

Arnlea said that since its introduction, it has invested a further £250,000 ($356,765) on product development during 2015 to enhance the software and rollout improved offerings such as Intrinsix Ex.
