Subsea 7, NOV win Sea Lion FEED contracts

LONDON Rockhopper Exploration has awarded more front-end engineering and design (FEED) contracts for the Sea Lion development offshore the Falkland Islands.

Subsea 7 won the FEED contract for subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) transport and installation. National Oilwell Varco was awarded the flexibles FEED contract.

Rockhopper says it expects to award the subsea production systems FEED contract in the current quarter.
