Offshore staff

LONDONSOCO International’s latest exploration well offshore Republic of Congo was a dry hole.

The deepwater drillship Noble Globetrotter II drilled Baobab Marine-1 (BABM-1) in the Mer Profonde Sud block in the Lower Congo basin, targeting the Miocene RR prospect.

Although good-quality sands were present, no hydrocarbons were encountered, suggesting a lack of communication with the known oil source.
