Lukoil granted Baltic block development rights

MOSCOW – The Russian Federation government has awarded Lukoil subsidiary OOO LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft E&P rights for a block in the Russian sector of the Baltic Sea.

The concession includes last year’s D33 oil field discovery, drilled from a Russian-made jackup.

Lukoil estimates recoverable oil reserves at 21.2 MM tons.
