SINGAPORE – The Harris Pye Engineering Group and Singapore-based Tecnomar & Associates have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to combine efforts, promote collaboration, and to offer their respective clients a wider range of services.

Don Moffat, Harris Pye’s technical director, Asia Pacific and Australasia, said: “There is very definite synergy between our two organizations. We have entered into this MOU to offer specific activities and services jointly, on a project-by-project basis for maximum benefit for our clients…

“For example, on FPSO conversion and commissioning, where we at Harris Pye can offer both turnkey solutions in the shipyard; and for project upgrades in the field.”

Harris Pye recently has invested $750,000 in its mechanical division in Singapore to acquire hydraulic torque equipment; pressure testing equipment; chemical cleaning and flushing equipment; specialist in situ machining equipment; and specialist valve overhaul and test equipment.
