Construction progresses on offshore Canada Hebron platform

CALGARY, Canada – Following a readjustment of interests, Suncor’s stake in the Hebron project offshore Newfoundland has decreased from 22.7% to 21%.

Construction of the platform continues, and Suncor anticipates first oil in late 2017.

Offshore Nova Scotia, the company is involved in exploration drilling in the deepwater Shelburne basin. Drilling started in 4Q 2015 and will continue through 2016.
