Wärtsilä to service Ensco’s drillships maintenance needs

HELSINKI, Finland – Wärtsilä has signed a maintenance agreement with Ensco, terms of which include extensive condition monitoring services and parts supply management for four drillships equipped with six Wärtsilä 32 engines.  

Under the seven-year deal, Wärtsilä will monitor Ensco’s installations, to safely and reliably extend time between equipment overhauls for scheduled maintenance. The goals are to achieve cost savings and improved lifecycle and environmental efficiency.

The company will also provide Ensco with full service support from its remote service centers and technical guidance to manage unscheduled maintenance and spare part deliveries.
