Sembcorp completes second Prosafe accommodation semisubmersible

Offshore staff

SINGAPORE – Sembcorp Marine has delivered the newbuild semisubmersible accommodation vessel Safe Zephyrus to Prosafe.

This is the second offshore accommodation semi the contractor has built for Prosafe following delivery last January of Safe Boreas.

Both vessels are built to the GVA 3000E design. They feature DP-3 dynamic positioning and a 12-point wire mooring arrangement for operations in harsh environments, and are also built to comply with Norwegian and UK regulations.

They can house 450 crew members in single cabins with glass atriums providing natural light to the central cabins, mess room, and recreational areas.
