Prosafe readies accommodation rigs for new assignments

LARNACA, CyprusProsafe has issued an update on the status of its semisubmersible accommodation rig fleet.

Safe Bristolia is currently undergoing a special periodic survey at a yard in Gdansk, Poland.

In Batam, Indonesia, Safe Astoria has been undergoing minor works.

Four rigs – Safe Regency, Safe Lancia, Safe Hibernia, and Safe Britannia – have been working offshore Mexico.

Jasminia is off-hire and will be relocated to a lay-up location. Safe Britannia, which recently finished a contract, will be kept in operational readiness mode in anticipation of new assignments.

As for the newly converted tender support vessel Scandinavia, acceptance testing revealed the need for adjustments which should be completed soon, allowing the vessel to start mobilizing to work for Statoil at Oseberg East in the North Sea.
