SHARJAH, UAE – Lamprell subsidiary Lamprell Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Aramco, the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri), and Hyundai Heavy Industries.

This could lead to joint establishment of a maritime complex in Saudi Arabia that would provide engineering, manufacturing, and repair services for offshore rigs, offshore service vessels, and commercial vessels.

The MoU covers joint participation and due diligence on all activities and work streams required for a final investment decision. This process could take three months.
