Wood Group Kenny to work on FEED for Browse FLNG risers

PERTH, AustraliaWoodside Energy has awarded Wood Group a second front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for the proposed Browse floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) development, 300 km (186 mi) from the Kimberly coast of Western Australia.

Wood Group Kenny will manage the configuration design of the flexible risers and umbilicals for the Brecknock, Calliance, and Torosa offshore gas/condensate fields, having previously performed riser conceptual studies.

Earlier this year Wood Group started work on the Browse subsea flowline FEED.
