VNG takes first steps toward Pil/Bue development offshore Norway

OSLO, Norway – VNG Norge has submitted an impact assessment proposal for development of the Pil and Bue oil discoveries in the Norwegian Sea.

Both are in production license 586, covering blocks 6406/11 and 12. The company and partners Spike Exploration Holding, Faroe Petroleum, and Pure E&P Norway aim to deliver a plan for development and operation to the Norwegian authorities in spring 2017.

The proposal presents alternative development scenarios, schedules, and topics for further study.
