Total contracts Eidsevik for offshore Norway support

Offshore staff

OSLO, Norway – Total E&P Norge has contracted two Eidesvik platform supply vessels for work in the Norwegian sector.

Viking Lady and Viking Athene were due to start the 75-day assignment this month.

Also in the Norwegian sector, Statoil has extended the contract for the LNG-powered PSV Viking Energy by two years from late April 2016. The deal carries a one-year extension option.

Viking Energy was the world’s first LNG-fuelled PSV when it was delivered in 2003. The vessel has since remained on contract to Statoil.
